Come along with me!

My Italian mother and grandmother had a love and zest for life. They inspired me to feel this creative passion.

I remember Grandma calling me “Leenda” as I followed her into her pantry and garden. Her garden was a labor of love and filled with every imaginable herb and vegetable used to create those amazing Italian dishes. And to this day I can remember the complexity of smells which surrounded me when I walked inside her pantry! I am sure that is where the creative influence and appreciation came from.

I love color – dramatic, bold and abstract – but I also love the subtle, softer, side of nature. Yin and yang – that’s me all over! I am constantly experimenting and trying new things. I embrace change. I feel it is my life’s mission to inspire others. I don’t know where this journey is going to take me, but I’m happy you are coming along with me…

But my eye caught sight of this grouping of dahlias in a wood barrel planted right… Read More
